Privacy and Personal Data Policy

We protect your personal information and your data.

Any information you provide to us through this website or by any other means, including your personal data, is confidential and will be safeguarded as such. Handel Corp. S.A.C. will use and apply that information to handle your request and to perform the contracted services and other related services. You are also protected under the terms of Law 29733, Peru's Personal Data Protection Law, its Regulations approved by Supreme Decree 003-2013-JUS, and their supplementary and amending provisions.

Accordingly, Handel Corp. S.A.C. wishes to make users aware of the following aspects concerning their personal data:

1. Protecting you

Handel Corp. S.A.C. is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy and Personal Data Policy describes the information Handel Corp. S.A.C. collects about the users of this website and what may happen with that information. The owner of the database in which the personal data provided upon accepting these conditions will be stored is Handel Corp. S.A.C., with taxpayer number (RUC) 20605044833 and registered address at Los Conquistadores 1052, San Isidro, Lima, Peru.

If you do not agree with this Privacy and Personal Data Policy, do NOT use the website.

Handel Corp. S.A.C. maintains personal databases registered with Peru's National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data. The data you provide through this site is added to the “Clients” database.

2. The information we collect

This website is informational: it does not sell products, does not process payments and does not require you to create an account. The only place where we ask you for personal data is the form used to request a demonstration, where we collect:

• Company.
• Job title.
• Work email address.
• The ecommerce platform you currently use.

If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we also collect whatever details you choose to include in your message.

We may also collect your IP (Internet Protocol) address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the website. An IP address is a number assigned to your computer when you use the internet; it is also used to help identify a session and to collect general demographic information. Our servers automatically log technical browsing data, such as the page you arrived from, the pages visited within the site and the browser you use.

3. How we use the information

In order to assist you promptly, Handel Corp. S.A.C. requires the data mentioned in the previous section. If it is not provided, we will not be able to handle your request.

The personal data we collect is used for the following purposes:

• To contact you in order to arrange and deliver the demonstration you requested.
• To give you information about Handel Corp. S.A.C.'s products and services.
• To handle your enquiries, requests for information, complaints and claims submitted through this channel.
• To prepare, negotiate and perform the commercial proposal or contract arising from your request, including invoicing any services you go on to contract.
• To ensure the functionality and security of the website and of our services.
• To send you commercial communications about Handel Corp. S.A.C.'s products, services and news, as well as surveys related to our services. You may stop receiving these communications at any time by writing to contacto@handel.pe, without this affecting how your request is handled.

4. Transfers and recipients

Handel Corp. S.A.C. does not sell or assign your personal data to third parties. It only shares it with the providers it needs in order to run this site and reply to you, which act as data processors on behalf of Handel Corp. S.A.C. and under an obligation of confidentiality:

• Hosting and cloud storage services: Handel Corp. S.A.C. contracts cloud infrastructure from Amazon Web Services, with servers located in the United States, where this site is hosted and the personal database is stored. This involves a cross-border flow of personal data under Law No. 29733 and its Regulations.
• Email and sales management services: used to receive your request, reply to you and follow up on the commercial conversation.

Handel Corp. S.A.C. will ensure compliance with the minimum security and confidentiality standards set out in the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations, by signing agreements whose purpose is the privacy of your personal data.

In addition, Handel Corp. S.A.C. may disclose information where a court order or a legal provision requires it to hand that information to the competent authorities.

5. Confidentiality of information

Your data will be used solely by Handel Corp. S.A.C. or its related or affiliated companies, in the ways set out in this Privacy and Personal Data Policy. Handel Corp. S.A.C. will do everything within its power to protect the privacy of the information, to the same extent as if it were its own confidential information. It may happen that, despite the controls deployed by Handel Corp. S.A.C., third parties improperly intercept or access certain information or data transmissions. In such cases, Handel Corp. S.A.C. will NOT be liable for information that is disclosed, taken or intercepted.

6. Minors

This site is aimed at companies and at professionals with the legal capacity to enter into contracts. Anyone who does NOT meet that condition must refrain from supplying personal data through this site. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we find that we have received a minor's data, we will delete it.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website installs on the visitor's device, with a limited duration, used to remember preferences, measure use of the site or personalise content.

As at the date of this policy, this site installs no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and it does not profile its visitors. If a measurement or marketing tool is added later, this page will say so and your consent will be requested before it is enabled.

The installation, retention and deletion of cookies on your device depend solely on your own decision: you can delete or block them whenever you wish from your browser's help section.

8. Retention period

Your personal data will be retained for as long as the commercial or legal relationship between the parties lasts and, once it ends, will be retained for promotional purposes if you have authorised this. Data will also be retained for as long as necessary to comply with legal requirements, unless you request its cancellation beforehand.

9. Security

In order to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of the personal data or confidential information provided by users, Handel Corp. S.A.C. has adopted the levels of security and personal data protection legally required and has put in place all the technical means and measures within its reach.

However, it should be borne in mind that perfect security does NOT exist on the internet. Handel Corp. S.A.C. is therefore NOT liable for unlawful interception or for the breach of its systems or databases by unauthorised persons, nor for the improper use of information obtained by such means.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

Handel Corp. S.A.C. may modify the terms of this Privacy and Personal Data Policy at any time. Any change will take effect as soon as it is published on the site. Depending on the nature of the change, we may announce it through the site's home page or by email. In any event, continued use of the site implies acceptance of the terms of this policy. If you do NOT agree with the policy in force, please refrain from using the site.

11. Exercising the rights of information, access, rectification, cancellation and objection

As the owner of your personal data, you have the right to access the data Handel Corp. S.A.C. holds about you; to know the characteristics of its processing; to rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete; to request its deletion or cancellation where you consider it unnecessary for the purposes set out above; and to object to its processing for specific purposes.

You may at any time revoke the consent given, as well as limit the use or disclosure of your personal data.

In order to exercise the rights mentioned above, you must submit the relevant request in the terms established by the Regulations of Law No. 29733, including: the name of the personal data owner and an address or other means of receiving a reply; documents proving your identity or legal representation; a clear and precise description of the data in respect of which you seek to exercise your rights; and any other details or documents that make the data easier to locate.

If you consider that your rights have not been honoured, you may file a claim with Peru's National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, addressed to the Registry Desk of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (Calle Scipión Llona 350, Miraflores, Lima, Peru), using the formulario de procedimiento trilateral de tutela.
